BraveLove is a wonderful charity organization that exists to change the perception of adoption through honest, informative and hopeful communication. Back in November they threw an awesome party to help “shine a light” on adoption and thank birth mothers during national adoption month. I had the honor of doing some signage-chalkboard-lettering for the party.
As guests donated, they were given a light bulb to help illuminate the Wall of Lights. By the end of the night, the entire wall was lit and it was beautiful – visually and metaphorically!
The food (3015 at Trinity Groves) was incredible, the drinks were flowing but the surprise winner was the Photo booth! Ok, maybe it wasn’t a surprise – Photo booths are always awesome. This set up from mirmir gave everyone celebrity skin. It was amazing. I did these little chalkboards (except for one… guess which?!)
And here are a few super high quality iPhone pics taken by my thoughtful and thorough husband. I was pretty pumped about the Welcome sign… It was huge! and very welcoming! The event sponsor and founding members signs were intimidating because of the long list of names, but I’m tickled pink with how they turned out. And lastly, the signature cocktail! I stuck with red wine that night, but I hear it was to.die.for.
The program was so touching… heart wrenching in fact. It made me so glad that they exist and so happy to know they are working in our community. Check out this lovely video from the night. Congratulations to the whole BraveLove team, especially my friends Laura and Leigh!
